Patty believes our homes should "Spark Joy" and that our own definition of success is the only one that matters.
She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in social work. An obsession with self improvement and furthering the common good is the thread throughout her dynamic career in social work, higher education, tech startups, philanthropy, and consulting.
As a home organizer and lifestyle consultant, Patty applies her experience in clinical social work to unpack both the physical and emotional stuff that's getting in your way so that you can become the person you are meant to be.
In 2016, she became one of the first certified KonMari Consultants in the world outside of Japan and was dubbed a Jedi-level practitioner of the KonMari Method by Men's Fitness Magazine.
In 2017, after participating in 92nd Street Y's pilot Ben Franklin Circle (a mutual improvement group, modeled after Frankin's Junto) and then running her own Circle, Patty joined the 92Y team as the Outreach Consultant for Ben Franklin Circles.
Outside of her role as a consultant, Patty volunteers at her daughter's school, coaches youth soccer, and runs a Little Free Library outside of her home in Huntington, NY. Of all of her titles, Mom is the one she's most proud of.
Patty's approach is influenced by the philosophies of Marie Kondo, Ben Franklin, Maria Montessori, Tim Ferriss, Frank Lloyd Wright, Eckhart Tolle, and others.
