The common thread is bringing people together for the greater good.

Program Development

Mental & Emotional Fitness, Cultivate Club

Cultivate Club was born out my desire to bring thoughtful women together for a year of personal growth, healing, transformation, and fun. Launched at the height of the pandemic, Cultivate Club became a lifeline for those involved.

Members work through The Clear & Cultivate Method™, a propriety framework that fosters individual and collective well-being, self-renewal, and resilience.

In its inaugural year the program had 100% retention and a net promoter score of 80% – virtually unheard of for online courses.

“I’m astonished at how different I feel about myself, my life, and those in my life in less than a month’s time” - Cultivate Club Member

Curriculum Design & Training

Organize the World, KonMari Media Inc.

As Marie Kondo’s book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, and Netflix series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, swept the world, so did the demand for consultant certification courses.

As one of the first Certified KonMari Consultants in the world outside of Japan, I worked with KonMari Media Inc. to revamp their training curriculum for an international audience.

I continue to serve as the Senior Instructor for Marie Kondo and KonMari Media Inc., teaching workshops and consultant certification courses from NYC to Hong Kong.

Stay-at-Home Sanity Guide, Mercari.com

In 2020 I partnered with Mercari to advocate for the reuse market, normalize selling to keep unwanted items out of landfills, and drive app downloads.

In April of that year, I conducted a satellite media tour via Zoom to promote The Stay-at-Home Sanity Guide to help viewers adjust to lockdown restrictions and create a supportive home environment.

Community Outreach & Facilitation

Ben Franklin Circles are a modern take on Ben Franklin’s mutual improvement club, The Junto, where members gather to discuss living a virtuous life.

As the Outreach Consultant, I worked with 92Y’s Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact to scale the Ben Franklin Circles project from a pilot program to over 300 groups across the country.

The aims of the project were to address social isolation, facilitate constructive discourse, and create hubs of mutual aid in local communities.

"Patty has such a great gift for running small groups! I’m in awe over how well she connects with everyone and get them talking!"

MOOC Training & Volunteer Management

Crisis Text Line

As the founding Director of Training, I launched a mooc-style training platform and trained a team of trainers to prepare 2000+ volunteer crisis counselors to provide text-based emotional support people in crisis.

Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement

Groupon Loves Local

Groupon as born out of a collective action fundraising platform, called The Point. I was hired by the Groupon founders to keep the social justice spirit of the company alive in its early days (300 employees). As the company grew to 12k+ employees globally and was dubbed “The Fastest Growing Company Ever,” I built the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy in tandem.

With the change of leadership, there was pressure to run flashy cause-marketing campaigns, I led a deeper “Love Local” culture campaign to help the company realize its role in supporting local communities and economies to leverage the company’s core competency for social good. This also required strategic outreach and community engagement to build bridges with local economic advocacy groups.

Ultimately the company changed its mission and their company values to reflect their commitment to local business and vibrant communities.

“Patty is a natural coalition builder. As Head of Social Innovation, I saw her inspire a great many people to believe that the company could make meaningful social contributions, and participate in the initiatives she led. I appreciated her progressive approach to corporate social responsibility, eschewing traditional checkbook philanthropy for approaches that were meaningfully connected to the mission and competency of the business. She was able to speak anyone's language, and collaborated effortlessly with C-levels, front line staff, and external partners from all walks of life.”
